PROMOTING CANCER AWARENESS

Early Detection is Key No One Fights Alone

Promoting Cancer Awareness mission is to “Promote” in means by Advocating, Educating, and by Supporting cancer patients and their families as they fight this horrible disease.

We are a zero paid salary non profit organization . All monies raised go directly to providing the resources to aid all of our patrons in need. With the support of sponsors/donation along with drive and passion of the PCA team, we aim to have the means to support everyone with no limitation.

PCA is unique in the way we bring awareness to cancer. We use a drag car called “Survivor” which the driver himself is a two time stage four cancer survivor that has devoted his time to the cause. PCA races up and down the east coast attending the PDRA, NHRA, IHRA events. Along the way PCA has touched the hearts of racers and their families which has provide opportunity for them to join the PCA family in our “ RACE FOR THE CAUSE”.

We also attend pop up events where we enjoy spreading the word ! The importance of early detection and treatment for all. At these event we provide informational materials, we also sell shirts, hats and other PCA merchandise. PCA provide all participants the
opportunity to take picture with the race car.

In the presence of cancer always remember your life may be different now but it's still good. You have to be willing to give up the life you planned and, and instead, greet the life that is waiting for you. Its important to always remember that cancer is a part of your life, but it is not your identity. Cancer Changes your life, often for the better. You realize what is important. We learn to prioritize, and we learn not to waste another second of the day. Always remember you are not alone!
